We draw with sound.
Waveform Prints is a small studio built on one idea: a sound you love has a shape, and that shape belongs on a wall.
Most of the sounds that matter live nowhere you can see them. A song from a wedding, the timbre of a grandparent's voice, the run out groove of a record played too many times. We started this studio to give those moments a physical form that is honest to the audio itself.
How the work is made
Each print begins from a real waveform. We read the amplitude of the audio you choose and render its true peaks and troughs, then compose it into a print that holds up as an object on the wall, not just a screenshot of a track. Nothing is faked or stylised into a shape that was never in the sound.
Pieces are produced through our European print partner and made to order, one at a time. That keeps waste low and lets every frame be tuned to the audio behind it. We would rather press a considered run than warehouse a wall of identical posters.
What we care about
Curation over volume. We keep the catalogue tight so that every collection, from song waveforms to analog studies, has a clear reason to exist. The goal is prints that feel personal and quietly technical at the same time: sleek enough for a studio wall, warm enough for a hallway at home.
Where we are headed
The shop is opening in stages across Europe. The Journal is where we write about sound, print craft and the small design decisions behind the work. If a particular sound matters to you, this studio was built to make it visible.
